Drew Reed threw for five touchdowns while guiding Lafayette to a 41-23 win over Holy Cross in a Patriot League matchup Saturday.

Reed, who completed 21 of his 22 passes for 283 yards, relied heavily on Mark Ross who hauled in three TD passes and racked up 151 yards. Ross Scheuerman caught two TD passes from Reed, including a 30-yarder in the first quarter to give Lafayette (2-5, 2-0) the lead it would never lose. Tyler Robinson returned an interception 41 yards for another score.

Ross, who already holds the school record for the most career touchdowns, set two more with Saturday's performance, laying claim to most career receptions (169) and most career yards receiving (2,409).

Holy Cross (3-6, 1-2) got two touchdown runs from Gabe Guild. Peter Pujals threw for 222 yards, including a 16-yard TD pass to Tyler Artim, but also had two interceptions.
