Kupp sits out Eastern Washington game

(STATS) - Eastern Washington wide receiver Cooper Kupp sat out No. 8 Eastern Washington's home opener on Saturday in Cheney, a 34-30 win over No. 10 Northern Iowa.
Kupp, the 2015 STATS FCS Offensive Player of the Year, injured his right shoulder against top-ranked North Dakota State last weekend.
He participated in pregame warmups Saturday before he sat out the game.
Kupp, a 6-foot-2, 215-pound senior, has caught a Division I-record 61 touchdowns in his career. This season, he has 17 receptions for 268 yards and five touchdowns in three halves of action.
