Kickoff time set for Penn State-Temple season-opener

Penn State's football schedule continues to come into focus.

Wednesday the athletics department announced the season-opening game against Temple in Philadelphia will kick off at 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 5.

The ninth meeting between the Nittany Lions and Owls in the last 10 years will be played at Lincoln Financial Field.

Penn State leads the all-time series with its in-state foe 39-3-1, and the Nittany Lions have won 31 in a row against the Owls.
