Kevin Sumlin addresses Speedy Noil's absence from practice

For reasons undisclosed to the media, Texas A&M sophomore wide receiver Speedy Noil has been absent from the Aggies’ practices over the past week. 

Saturday, Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin addressed Noil’s absence.

Sumlin said Noil has “some things he has to complete” and is expected to return to the team next week.

Noil, a five-star wide receiver in the 2014 class, had a promising freshman campaign for the Aggies last season. He caught 46 passes for 583 yards and five touchdowns.

Texas A&M opens its season Sept. 5 against Arizona State.
