This might come as a shock to some, but former Texas Longhorns receiver Jordan Shipley, the favorite target and best friend of quarterback Colt McCoy when the Horns were still national contenders, is 30 years old.

Shipley's NFL career was cut short by injuries, and although he endured his fair share of those while in Austin, Shipley goes down as one of the best to play at Texas. He had 248 catches for 3,191 yards and 33 touchdowns in his career. In his final two seasons in 2008 and 2009, he caught 205 passes, 24 for touchdowns.

To celebrate Shipley's entrance into a new decade, the Austin American-Statesman dusted off some of his best highlights:

2. Big game against Central Florida, 2009: Shipley catches 11 passes for a school-record 273 yards.

3. Airborne against Kansas, 2008: Shipley flies over the defense for a first down on a fake field goal.

4. From the field to the stage, 2010: Singing at McCoy's wedding, 2010.
