Jacksonville cruises past Stetson 41-14

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) Kade Bell threw five touchdown passes and Jacksonville cruised past Stetson 41-14 on Saturday.

Bell was 23 of 40 for 247 yards and threw touchdown passes to five different receivers. He connected with Orlando Thomas and Damien Strange, both on 4-yarders, in the first quarter. Bell found Andy Jones from 10 yards in the second, Austin Leach from 15 in the third, and Austin Lawrence on a 21-yard score in the fourth.

Armani Sampson intercepted a Ryan Tentler pass just before halftime and took it 46 yards for a touchdown. Jacksonville (5-0, 3-0 Pioneer) had four picks on the day, two by Dallas Jackson.

Ulysses Bryant has 95 yards on 22 carries. Leach had four catches for 70 yards.

For Stetson (1-4, 0-3), Tentler finished 13 of 30 for 111 yards, a touchdown pass and two interceptions. Colin McGovern was 7 of 15 for 118 yards and two picks.
