Is Katherine Webb engaged?

Perhaps Alabama QB AJ McCarron did, in fact, “put a ring on it” after his famous girlfriend, Katherine Webb, told Ryan Seacrest in January that she was ready to get married.

During a recent MTV appearance at Hangout Fest in Gulf Shores, Ala., with fellow Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Chrissy Teigen, Webb was spotted wearing a very large ring on her left ring finger. It seems big in comparison to the one that Teigen, who’s engaged to R&B star John Legend, is sporting.

We could be reading into this entirely too much. Perhaps it’s a purity ring or a ring meant to ward off unwanted male advances, as suggested by the website Busted Coverage. Whatever it is, it’ll certainly give Alabama fans something to talk about between now and kickoff for the 2013 season.
