Indiana State runs past St. Joseph's 57-7

Darrius Gates ran for 160 yards and three touchdowns Saturday night as Indiana State routed St. Joseph's of Indiana 57-7.
Indiana State rolled up 371 yards on the ground, with Shakir Bell gaining 133 of them. Gates and Bryant Kent each had 22-yard touchdown runs in the first quarter, defensive lineman Rod Hardy ran in from 3 yards and the Sycamores blocked a punt late in the second quarter, with Justin Hilton recovering in the end zone for another score.
Indiana State finished the night with seven rushing touchdowns in its highest-scoring performance since 1999.
Mack Ogletree connected with Scott Chapman on a 61-yard touchdown for the Pumas' only score in the game.
