Rodrick Rumble caught 10 passes for 144 yards and three touchdowns as Idaho State defeated Western State (Colo.) 44-7 Saturday to end an 11-game losing streak.
Rumble's first touchdown, on a 26-yard pass from Kevin Yost, came 45 seconds into the game after Idaho State recovered a Western State fumble on the opening kickoff.
Rumble added TD catches of 51 and 15 yards. In two games, he has 20 receptions for 362 yards and four TDs.
Yost was 24 of 31 for 289 yards and four scores for Idaho State (1-1).

Division II Western State (0-2) had a 72-67 advantage in offensive plays but scored just once, on Curtis Prock's 1-yard pass from Jamie Jensen.
Idaho State won for the first time since the opening game of the 2010 season.
