Bryant Moniz threw for two touchdowns and ran for another two to lead Hawaii to a 45-34 win over New Mexico State on Saturday night.

The Warriors (4-3, 2-1 WAC) racked up 503 yards of offense and never trailed against the Aggies (3-4, 2-1).

Moniz completed 24 of 39 attempts for 264 yards and added 62 yards on 11 carries. Joey Iosefa, who scored two touchdowns in the second half, rushed 13 times for 90 yards.

Aaron Brown finished with a game-high 12 tackles, including one sack, for the Warriors, who had nine players record at least one catch each.

Matt Christian threw for 224 yards and two touchdowns - both to Taveon Rogers - and Kenny Turner added 119 rushing yards and a score for New Mexico State.

The Warriors jumped out to a 14-0 lead after John Hardy-Tuliau blocked a New Mexico State punt, which was recovered by Kamalani Alo and returned 13 yards for a touchdown.

New Mexico State got on the board with a 47-yard pass from Austin Franklin to Todd Lee late in the first quarter to make it 14-7.

The end of the first half saw a frantic finish with the teams combining for three scores in the final two minutes and 55 seconds.

After Allen Sampson pulled in a 25-yard touchdown pass from Moniz, Christian hit Rogers for a 41-yard Aggies' score.

Moniz put his team back ahead with a 17-yard quarterback draw, but the PAT was no good.

Turner scored on a 46-yard run in the third quarter and Christian found the end zone on a 4-yard run in the fourth for New Mexico State.

Christian closed out the scoring with his 9-yard touchdown pass to Rogers, who finished with three receptions for 64 yards.
