Harbaugh draws cascade of stars to Michigan for signing day
ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) College football's recruiting circus seems to have found its ringmaster: Jim Harbaugh.
The coach has turned the Wolverines' signing day into a ''Signing With the Stars'' spectacle.
Tom Brady, Derek Jeter, Jim Leyland and even Ric Flair are expected to be in a packed auditorium on campus Wednesday. Minutes before the event started, fans started shouting, ''Woooooo!'' when they saw Flair, a former professional wrestler.
Moments later, fans in rose-colored, plus seats chanted, ''Go!'' and ''Blue!'' as if it was a football game.
Harbaugh's brother, Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh, and his dad, Jack, were waiting to load a bus outside Michigan's football facility. Jack Harbaugh was an assistant for the late Michigan coach Bo Schembechler.
