Drew Little threw for 189 yards and two touchdowns to lead Georgia State to a 23-17 win over Lamar on Saturday, ensuring a winning record in the Panthers' inaugural season.

Georgia State fell behind 17-13 with 9:34 left in the fourth quarter after Little was picked off by Lamar's Ryan Clark, who returned the interception 54 yards for a touchdown. It was Lamar's only lead of the game.

But Little, who completed 22 of 35 passes, threw a 2-yard touchdown pass to Arthur Williams with 4:52 remaining to put the Panthers (6-4) ahead.

Georgia State's Jamal Ransby intercepted Doug Prewitt's pass on the next possession, leading to a 29-yard field goal by Iain Vance with 1:39 left.
