Five different players ran for touchdowns as the Georgia Southern ground attack was on full display, leading the Eagles to a 50-20 rout of Furman on Saturday.

The Eagles (6-0, 5-0 Southern Conference) outgained the Paladins (3-3, 2-2) on the ground 361-115, led by Johnathan Bryant with 95 yards and a TD.

Eagles quarterback Jaybo Shaw led the team with two touchdowns on just one net rushing yard, but was 6 of 9 for 171 yards passing.

J.J. Wilcox's 5-yard rush and Shaw's first TD had the Eagles at a 16-13 advantage in the second quarter, but Georgia Southern exploded for 27 straight points from that juncture. The spree included Bryant's 14-yard run, Shaw's second score from a yard out and Robert Brown's 2-yarder.
