Gators DB Jalen Tabor apologizes for anti-Florida Twitter rant

Wednesday night, after news of his suspension, Florida sophomore defensive back Jalen Tabor went on a Twitter rant against the program and athletic association.
Via Notre Dame beat writer Tyler James:
I can only describe these tweets by recently suspended Florida CB Jalen Tabor as fascinating. pic.twitter.com/1JkEnXXq83

Tabor also retweeted messages supporting the notion that choosing UF was a mistake, via Andrew Darago:
Looking at Jalen Tabor's feed, can't help but just out a @VolRumorMill classic: ? pic.twitter.com/g7FOgRBvVJ

After the tweets dropped, Tabor’s mother reportedly reached out to members of the Florida media to deny that the account belongs to her son.
FWIW, Tabor's mom told me @_31Flavorz isn't his account. But she & UF players have @ it before. Anyways, tonight's tweets have been deleted.

Of course, the account does appear to belong to Tabor, who apologized for the tweets Thursday morning.
We’re glad that cooler heads have prevailed here. Through three games, Tabor has 10 total tackles, four pass breakups, and an interception.
