FSU Football: Fans React To News of Charlie Strong Going To USF
FSU football will have a familiar foe in its backyard when Charlie Strong officially becomes head coach of the South Florida Bulls. Fans react to the news that broke Sunday.
South Florida lost its head coach Willie Taggart earlier this week when he accepted the same position at Oregon. The Bulls administration wasted no time in targeting their man who became available after being fired by the University of Texas at the end of November.

Strong was ousted from Texas after going 16-21 in three seasons in Austin. He has previously gone 37-15 as the head coach at Louisville.
Charlie Strong has roots in the state of Florida when he was the defensive coordinator at the University of Florida under Urban Meyer.
Many think it’s a homerun hire for USF and voiced their opinions on social media:
Charlie Strong better than me because I would’ve took a year off and been a @Longhorn_FB game critic on Twitter. https://t.co/yjTNRJEgiz

I’ll have more on Charlie Strong going to USF and how they could potentially affect FSU football on Monday morning. Given the circumstances, I think this is the best possible hire they could have made.
