'Free (Brice) Ramsey' campaign starts during Richt's postgame presser

After Saturday's 27-3 loss to rival Florida on Saturday, Georgia is sitting at 3-3 in conference play.

At this point, it appears unlikely head coach Mark Richt's team can catch the Gators and win the SEC East. As is the case with any team struggling to win, the quarterback position will be under a significant microscope.

Richt opted to start Faton Bauta over Greyson Lambert and Brice Ramsey. Bauta struggled -- going 15-of-33 for 154 yards and four interceptions. It was a true struggle across the board for the entire team, but Bauta in particular had a tough time.

In Richt's postgame press conference, an anonymous individual wrote 'FREE RAMSEY' on a whiteboard in the room where Richt was speaking.

Oddly enough, Ramsey starred as the punter. The quarterback-turned-punter had five boots for 217 yards. His 43.4 yards-per-punt average would place him fifth in the SEC in punting average.

Although Ramsey failed to connect with a receiver on a fake-punt attempt, one could argue he was the best Georgia quarterback against Florida.
