File this news under information that would have been useful earlier, as recent four-star offensive lineman enrollee DeVondre Seymour has decided he no longer wishes to pursue a career in football, according to the Athens Banner-Herald.

After less than three weeks on campus, Seymour is no longer a member of the football program.

Mark Richt addressed Seymour's status following the news: “I met with DeVondre and he feels strongly that football is not what he wants to do,” Richt said in a statement. “We do wish him well in whatever career he chooses to pursue.”

Seymour was projected to play offensive tackle for the Bulldogs this season. Also of note, Seymour is the stepson of former Georgia and NFL great Richard Seymour.

The Bulldogs will now lean on their other three 2015 offensive linemen signees to develop and provide depth this season.
