Florida defensive lineman Ivie playing in memory of sister

Florida defensive lineman Joey Ivie is playing for more than just an SEC title in 2015.

In an article written by Matt Baker of the Tampa Bay Times, Ivie's determination for this upcoming year is galvanized by the memory of his late sister Jordan. She tragically passed away this past April due to complications from a car crash.

Ivie's Twitter page beautifully commemorates his fallen sister in multiple spots. His header photo shows a smiling picture of Jordan. The bio reads: "Jordan Ivie is my Motivation. God keeps me going. Stay Up."

Ivie will likely begin the season as the starting nose tackle for the Gators. With a heavy heart, he'll hope to lead Florida to its first conference championship since 2008.
