Feldman: Freeze closing in on new deal to stay at Ole Miss

Hugh Freeze and Ole Miss have an agreement in place on a new contract, athletic director Ross Bjork announced Tuesday morning. 

A source told FOX Sports on Monday night that the deal was expected to be completed Tuesday and announced shortly thereafter.

As of late Monday night, both sides were still tying up some loose ends.

The 45-year-old Mississippi native is 24-14 in three seasons in Oxford and has led the Rebels to more wins in every year he's coached the Rebels. This 9-3 season has been highlighted by wins of top-five opponents, Alabama and Mississippi State.
