FCS to air seven Ivy League games

FOX College Sports (FCS) announced Thursday that it will televise seven Ivy League football games for the 2013 season.

Featuring all eight Ivy League schools, the seven-game slate kicks off on Saturday, Sept. 28 as Dartmouth takes the field against Holy Cross at 7 p.m. ET in a non-conference matchup. Ivy League play on FCS gets underway over three-straight Saturdays in October with Dartmouth squaring off against Yale at 1:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, Oct. 12, Brown playing host to Princeton at 6 p.m. ET on Saturday, Oct. 19 and Harvard hosting Princeton at 1 p.m. ET on Saturday, Oct. 26.

Preseason favorite Penn battles Brown on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 12:30 p.m. ET with the Quakers looking to capture their fourth Ivy League title in five years. On Saturday, Nov. 16, Cornell senior quarterback Jeff Mathews, a Walter Payton Award preseason nominee, leads the Big Red in a matchup against Columbia at 1 p.m. ET. Columbia closes out the schedule at home on Saturday, Nov. 23 against Brown at 1:30 p.m. ET.

Play-by-play announcer Eric Frede and former NFL linebacker Steve DeOssie will call the action.
