Former University of Michigan running back Kevin Grady has pleaded no contest after his second drunken driving arrest in less than three years.
Grandville District Court officials said Thursday that Grady faces sentencing May 11. He could receive up to a year in jail.
The Grand Rapids Press reports that Grady's blood alcohol level was more than three times the legal limit of 0.08 at the time of his November arrest in nearby Grandville.
The Associated Press left a message Thursday seeking comment from Grady's attorney. A no contest plea is not an admission of guilt but is treated as such for sentencing.
He was arrested in 2008 outside Grand Rapids and later pleaded guilty to misdemeanor drunken driving.
Grady currently plays for the Indoor Football League's Chicago Slaughter.
