Collin Klein led Kansas State into the national title picture in 2012.

Now the former Kansas State quarterback is behind the scenes as a graduate assistant with the Wildcats helping the four quarterback candidates through August.

Alex Delton, Jonathan Banks, Jesse Ertz and Joe Hubener are all in line for the starting job.

"I like all four quarterbacks," Klein said to the Kansas City Star. "Top to bottom, we have great athletes, guys who are good with their arms and their legs. It's a great group. Who rises out of it is hard to predict, but I can tell you it will be somebody good."

Klein is working as an assistant quarterbacks coach with offensive coordinators Dana Dimel and Del Miller. Klein can also be someone the 2015 quarterbacks can turn to for some guidance.

"This year, I can see us going back to being an offense where we run the ball a lot more like we did with Collin Klein as quarterback," Dimel said to the Kansas City Star. "All four of our quarterbacks are great runners.
