Erin Andrews' Week 5 thoughts

Erin Andrews (@ErinAndrews), the host of FOX College Football pregame show, shares her thoughts on what she is most looking forward to in Week 5:

FOX has weekend's best matchup

Can visiting Texas continue to have success in Stillwater with a young team? How much has David Ash matured at quarterback? Is Texas' defense ready to finally play up to the high preseason expectations?

For Oklahoma State, who will start at QB for the Cowboys? How will top RB Joseph Randle fare against the Longhorns' stingy defense? Did OK State loose too much last season to make a statement in the Big 12?

Buckeyes-Spartans

Both of these teams come off wins in bad moods. Urban Meyer says his team's inconsistency is terrible, while Mark Dantonio kept the players and coaches away from the media all week. Which team walks away Saturday with a smile?

Badgers-Cornhuskers

This is another big test for Wisconsin. Last season, it embarrassed Nebraska in Madison so much so that Bo Pelini ran right passed me when I tried to get a halftime interview. Now that Montee Ball has been cleared to play, will he even be a factor in the Badgers' running game?

Beavers-Wildcats

Can Oregon State avoid the letdown after its huge road win at UCLA? Can they shake off memories of celebrating at In-N-Out Burger and concentrate on Arizona? Same goes for Rich Rod's crew — are they recovered after being shutdown by Oregon last weekend?

Highights of the week

I had a "healthy salad" in Youngstown, Ohio this week that had more french fries than grilled chicken. I was told that's how they do it in Youngstown.

I can officially check off a big one on my bucket list as I got to have Sunday night dinner on a Tuesday with the Manzo Family in New Jersey. It was a blast, and yes, the food was insane!!
