Duke football coach David Cutcliffe surprises walk-on with a scholarship

Danny Doyle has played two seasons as a walk-on defensive end for David Cutcliffe's Blue Devils, and in a recent team meeting in Durham Cutcliffe rewarded Doyle's hard work and surprised him with the help of his parents. Cutcliffe stood at the podium and made small talk with his team, but he was interrupted by his own ringing phone.

Doyle's parents were on the line, so Cutcliffe called him up to talk to his mom and dad. They broke the incredible news, and Doyle's teammates erupted.
