Gary Scott scored on a 2-yard run in overtime and Mike Piatkowski threw for 373 yards and two touchdowns as Drake scored the final 31 points of the game to defeat Marist 34-27 Saturday.

Scott, who rushed for 90 yards, also scored on a 10-yard run in the fourth quarter that pulled the Bulldogs (6-2, 5-0 Pioneer League) within 27-19.

Piatkowski followed with a 17-yard TD to Joey Orlando with 7:07 remaining, then found Kevin Marshall for the two-point conversion to tie the game.

Marist (2-5, 1-3), which led 27-3 late in the third quarter, got 80 yards rushing and a pair of scores from Max Jacques, and two TD passes from Tommy Reilly, who was 9 of 21 for 185 yards in his first start of the year. The Red Foxes had a third-and-goal from the 1-yard line on their overtime possession, but Reilly was sacked on each of the next two plays.
