Trent Hurley threw for four first-half touchdowns and Delaware didn't waste any time burying Wagner 49-9 on Saturday night.

The Blue Hens (3-1) scored 21 points in both the first and second quarters, scoring on drives of 2:03 or less to take a 42-3 lead before a heavy downpour arrived in the second half. A blocked punt in the first quarter and three interceptions in the second, including Craig Brodsky's first two career picks, all led to Delaware touchdowns.

Delaware got its 20th consecutive nonconference home victory.

Hurley played only the first half, completing 10 of 12 pass for 226 yards. Michael Johnson collected three of Hurley's scoring throws, including one play of 77 yards, and had a career-high 168 yards passing on six catches.
