Pat Devlin threw four touchdown passes and Delaware defeated Lehigh 42-20 on Saturday in the second round of the Football Championship Subdivision playoffs.

Devlin, who was 19-for-26 passing for 256 yards, passed 29 yards to Mark Schenauer, which put the Blue Hens (10-2) ahead for good, 14-10, with 11:56 left in the second quarter.

Devlin also had touchdown passes of 1 yard to Chris Campbell, 38 yards to Tommy Crosby and 20 yards to Nihja White.

Schenauer finished with 113 yards on five catches.

Delaware had 450 yards of total offense, while holding the Mountain Hawks (10-3) to just 29 yards rushing.

Andrew Pierce ran for one touchdown and 88 yards on 18 carries for the Blue Hens.

Chris Lum was 25 for 58 with two interceptions, two touchdowns and 362 yards for Lehigh.

The Blue Hens will face New Hampshire in the quarterfinals on Dec. 12.
