Defense, James Madison down Richmond 55-20

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) Taylor Reynolds returned two interceptions for 101 yards and two touchdowns as James Madison broke several school records in a 55-20 victory over Richmond on Saturday.

Reynolds ran the first pick 6 for 55 yards in the first quarter, and the second 46 yards to give the Dukes a 21-point lead. He set records for most pick 6's and interception return yards in a game, and also had eight tackles and two forced fumbles.

Vad Lee set a school record with 433-passing yards, breaking his own previous record of 406. He finished with two touchdown passes, and ran for a 6-yard TD for the Dukes (8-3, 5-2 Colonial Athletic Association).

James Madison's defense gave up 20 points in the first half, but shut out The Spiders (7-4, 4-3) after the break.

Michael Strauss threw for 225 yards and all three of the Spiders' touchdowns, along with three interceptions.
