Could Barry J. Sanders be a fit for Oklahoma State?
Barry J. Sanders, son of the great Barry Sanders of the Detroit Lions, has decided to transfer from Stanford and will be eligible to play in 2016. Sanders knew he was never going to surpass Christian McCaffrey in the Cardinal backfield, and he wants to be the top tog in a situation of his own.
Could that situation be at Oklahoma State?
The Cowboys have a dynamic passing game, but the same can't be said for their rushing attack. Rennie Childs struggled against a mediocre offensive line, and Sanders could see an opportunity to be a missing piece for an Oklahoma State offensive that is in an interesting predicament: it scores points, but it also desperately needs a running back.
Time will tell, but Sanders should have some great options at his disposal.
