Correction: Penn State-Paterno-Charity story

In a story Dec. 5 about former Penn State football coach Joe Paterno and a real estate investment, The Associated Press, relying on information from The Daily, erroneously reported that ''$18.8 million was owed'' to residents of The Village at Penn State retirement community who had moved out and demanded refunds on their entrance fees. The $18.8 million figure represented potential future refund obligations to residents, not refunds owed now.
