Contrary to Briles, Oregon Dairy Queens don't know Bryce Petty

On Monday at Big 12 Media Days, Baylor coach Art Briles was asked about the difference of one year for quarterback Bryce Petty.

One thing, Briles noted, is many more people know who Petty is now.

In fact, Briles said you could go to a Dairy Queen in Salem, Oregon, and they will have heard of the Bears' QB.

As it turns out, they have not.

There are six Dairy Queens in the Salem area, and a local radio station called all six to ask if they had heard of Petty.

"I've never heard of him," one Dairy Queen employee told oregonlive.com. "You know you called a fast food restaurant, right? Are those like owners of Dairy Queens or employees?"

It just gets better from there.
