STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy said Monday that quarterback Daxx Garman will transfer.

Gundy said he expects Garman to graduate in May, then go somewhere where he can start.

Garman became Oklahoma State's starter last season after J.W. Walsh went down for the season with a right foot injury. Garman completed 55 percent of his passes for 2,041 yards with 12 touchdowns and 12 interceptions while operating behind a makeshift, leaky young line. He was Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week after passing for 370 yards and four touchdowns in a win over Texas Tech.

After his Garman began to struggle, Gundy pulled Mason Rudolph's redshirt. Rudolph helped the Cowboys beat Oklahoma, then Washington in the TicketCity Cactus Bowl. Gundy named Rudolph the starter heading into the spring.
