We all know the special teams need to play well and not make mistakes, but here are three things that need to happen for a win.
1.Win the battle upfront.
The first key to Clemson football picking up a victory is fairly simple: Win the battle in the trenches. On both sides of the ball, Clemson has the upper hand on the lines of scrimmage, but that does not always mean that you win.
The Tigers need to be physical up front and push Georgia Tech off the ball. If they do that, it will a long way to picking up a win Thursday night.

2. Christian Wilkins needs to remember he is a defensive end.
I have no doubt in my mind this will happen. Christian Wilkins must remember what his assignment is in containing the Georgia Tech running game.
Wilkins is a natural defensive tackle, but he must remember he is playing the end spot on Thursday night.
This means he needs to stay home and force everything back inside where his fellow teammates will be there to make plays.
3. Get Deshaun active in the running game.
Through the first three games, Deshaun Watson has been minimally used in the running game. Tonight, I think they unleash what he is fully capable of doing.
Look for Watson to run the ball 10-20 times before the night is over as the offensive coordinators try to establish him as a runner.
That will open plays in the passing game and will make Wayne Gallman’s job a lot easier.
Watson being established in the run game will be a key for Clemson football tonight and the rest of the season.
