Clemson football recruiting spotlight: Logan Rudolph

Dabo Swinney is putting together another strong recruiting class in 2017. The Tigers 14 man class currently ranks 7th in the country by 24/7 sports. Lets take a look at Logan Rudolph, four-star defensive end from Northwestern High School in Rock Hill, SC.

Junior year:

As a junior Logan Rudolph was extremely disruptive on defense, tallying 62 tackles, 15 sacks, 9 tfl’s, and 1 interception. Rudolph also played tight-end for his high school team.

Player comparison: Sam Hubbard, DE Ohio State

Rudolph is a ranging athlete standing 6’4, 224 lbs. From a physical standpoint he reminds me of Sam Hubbard from Ohio State. Coming out of high school Hubbard was slightly taller at 6’6, however, he too weighed around 225 lbs. Much like Hubbard, Rudolph will need to put on weight once he gets to college, but, he has tremendous upside.

ability to run plays down sideline to sideline. A motor is something that you cannot teach. Logan’s elite motor is evident in the way that he plays. Rudolph is constantly pursing the play at full force.

Injury

Logan Rudolph suffered a torn labrum early on in his senior season. Rudolph has already signed a financial aid agreement which will allow him to enroll early.
