Terrell Robinson threw for three first-half touchdowns as Chattanooga defeated Elon 42-18 in a Southern Conference game Saturday.

Robinson connected with Joel Bradford for a 52-yard touchdown on the second possession for the Mocs (4-4, 2-3). He found Sloan Allison and Marlon Anthony for scores of 11 and 6 yards, respectively, in the second quarter, when Chattanooga increased its lead to 28-0.

Robinson completed 11 of 13 passes for 140 yards and carried 14 times for 115 yards.

Thomas Wilson completed 22 of 35 for 241 yards and a touchdown for the Phoenix (4-4, 2-3), but was sacked four times and intercepted twice by Chattanooga, which came in ranked third in pass defense in the Football Championship Subdivision.

After Elon cut the Mocs' lead to 28-18 early in the fourth quarter, Robinson broke off runs of 41 and 12 yards to set up a 21-yard scoring run by Marquis Green.
