Jacob Huesman rushed for one touchdown and passed for a second to lead Chattanooga to a 20-13 Southern Conference win over Samford Saturday night.

The Moccasins (4-3, 3-1) led 20-3 after three quarters before Samford (5-3, 3-3) rallied behind the leg of placekicker Cameron Yaw. Huesman's 1-yard scoring run followed the first of two Nick Pollard field goals for a 10-0 Chattanooga lead. Yaw boomed a 52-yard field goal on the last play of the first half to cut it to 10-3.

After Pollard's second field goal, a 36-yarder, Huesman's 16-yard touchdown pass to Marquis Green gave the Moccasins a 20-3 lead entering the fourth quarter.

But Yaw connected again, this time from 47 yards. Then a 1-yard touchdown run by Fabian Truss cut it to 20-13 with 4:49 still remaining. Chattanooga, however, held on for the victory.
