Cards land in CBS Sports' post-spring top-25

Despite losing a school-record 10 players to the NFL draft, including first-rounder DeVante Parker, the Louisville football team made it into CBS Sports’ post-spring top-25.

The rankings were created by reporter Dennis Dodd, who put the Cardinals in the No. 25 spot.

This is what Dodd had to say about Louisville: “This is why athletic director Tom Jurich rehired Bobby Petrino: He won nine games in his first season (back). That's the sixth time in 10 years as a head coach Petrino's won at least that many. Elsewhere, express your (possible) outrage any way you wish. Petrino signed former Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year Devonte Fields, despite domestic violence allegations.”
