Bielema has a great shot to do something no Arkansas coach has done

Incredibly, in the storied history of Razorback football, no head football coach has won his first two bowl games with the school. Considering Arkansas is a double-digit favorite over Big 12 opponent Kansas State in the Liberty Bowl, Bret Bielema should be the first to accomplish the feat.

While the Wildcats may be an 11.5-point underdog at the moment, considering the game could be the last appearance for legendary coach Bill Snyder, it would be foolish to pencil in the Razorbacks for an automatic win. Snyder is known for getting his teams inspired to play in the underdog role.

Also playing into Snyder's favor, the coach knows a thing or two about Bielema, as the Arkansas coach caught his first big break serving as a coordinator for the Kansas State head coach in 2002.

If Bielema does become the first Arkansas coach to win his first two bowl games, it will be yet another positive sign that the program is headed in the right direction.
