Augustana football coach leaves for Mich St

Augustana College football coach Brad Salem has resigned to take an assistant's job at Michigan State.

Salem will coach running backs for the Spartans. He compiled a 31-26 record in five seasons as Vikings head coach.

Augustana on Friday named defensive coordinator Mike Aldrich to succeed Salem.
