Bowl-eligible Arkansas State foiled a two-point conversion and recovered an onside kick with 2 minutes left to avoid a potential loss to winless Georgia State on Saturday, holding on for a 35-33 win.

Huge underdogs, Georgia State (0-11, 0-6 Sun Belt) shocked the Red Wolves (7-4, 5-1) when wide receiver Kelton Hill hooked up with Albert Wilson on a 70-yard touchdown. However, Ronnie Bell missed the PAT.

Bell's 4-yard run in the first quarter and Albert Wilson's 80-yarder in the second helped the underdogs take a 17-7 halftime lead.

Arkansas State regained the lead early in the third on a 21-yard fumble return by Sterling Young and a blocked punt that Raziel Valgis recovered in the end zone.
