The Hogs now have six total commitments for their 2016 class, half of which are from Louisiana.

De'Jon recently spoke to The Times-Picayune about his decision.

"When I went up there to the spring game, the coaching staff showed they were really interested in me," Harris said. "The coaches really wanted me. When they came down for our spring game, they talked to me individually. I talked to my mom and when I was up there, I actually wanted to commit."

"But I took some time to think about it, a couple of weeks to think about it, to make sure I was going to make the right decision. I told Coach Lam 'I need to stop playing games and go ahead and do it.' That's how I feel"
