AP source: Cars.com no longer 'presenting sponsor'

A person familiar with the decision says Cars.com has pulled out as the ''presenting sponsor'' of two college football games on ESPN involving Penn State in the wake of the sex-abuse scandal engulfing the program.

The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity Thursday because the move has not been announced.

The sponsorship was withdrawn for ''Saturday Afternoon College Football'' for the next two weeks. Those games include Penn State against Nebraska at noon this weekend and the school's matchup with Ohio State the following Saturday.?
