Albany too strong; beats Maine 20-7

ORONO, Maine (AP) Omar Osbourne rushed for 98 yards, Christian Dorsey had a 60-yard fumble return for a touchdown, and Albany (N.Y.) beat Maine 20-7 on Saturday.

Will Fiacchi had 120 yards through the air and a touchdown for an Albany offense that won despite finishing with just 212 yards of total offense.

Dorsey's fumble return tied the game at 7 and field goals of 52 and 46 yards by Patrick O'Toole put the Great Danes (5-2, 2-2 Colonial) ahead for good. Fiacchi sealed it with a 4-yard touchdown pass to Brian Parker with 3:27 left in the game.

Maine (2-5, 1-3) scored on a 14-yard touchdown pass from Drew Belcher to Arthur Williams midway through the first. Belcher had 130 yards passing to lead the Black Bears, but completed just 13 of his 30 passes. Nigel Beckford added 75 yards rushing for Maine, including a game long 29-yard rush.
