Alabama A&M slips by Arkansas-Pine Bluff 50-42

Jaymason Lee threw for 349 yards and three touchdowns, leading Alabama A&M to a 50-42 come-from-behind win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff Saturday.

Alabama A&M (4-7, 4-5 Southwestern Athletic Conference) scored 16 points in the final quarter to secure the win. There were five lead changes during the game. Arkansas-Pine Bluff (2-8, 2-6) jumped out to a 21-7 advantage early in the second quarter as Benjamin Anderson, who passed and ran for 386 yards, had rushing touchdowns from the 33 and 5 and Michael Wilson scored from 4 yards out. The Bulldogs took the lead for the second time in the third, but the Golden Lions scored twice late in that quarter to regain the lead 42-34.

The Bulldogs took control of the final quarter as Cesar Ramon hit a 38-yard field goal and Barrington Scott, who had 165 yards rushing, scored from three yards out to give Alabama A&M the lead.
