Deaunte Mason tossed three touchdown passes and ran for three more as Alabama A&M rallied to topple Prairie View A&M 42-30 in Southwestern Athletic Conference action Saturday night.

Mason was a part of every Bulldog score, with none more important than the final two. His 4-yard TD pass to Bobby Goldsby with 5:45 to play leapfrogged Alabama A&M (3-0, 2-0 SWAC) to a 35-30 lead, and his 7-yard run two minutes later put the game on ice.

The Panthers (0-3, 0-2) broke a 21-21 halftime tie on Christopher Barrick's 28-yard field goal in the third, but fell behind when Mason scored from 2-yards out. Prairie View A&M retook the lead on consecutive field goals from Barrick, setting the score at 30-28 before Mason spearheaded the final comeback.

The Panthers' De'Auntre Smith accounted for 113 yards and a TD on 13 rushes.
