A game of thrills (and thrones): Celebrities take in Northwestern win over Penn State

A Jack Mitchell 35-yard field goal with nine seconds left gave Northwestern a thrilling 23-21 victory over Penn State on Saturday in Evanston.
The theatre provided in the exciting contest was almost akin something one would see in Hollywood. Two of Northwestern's most famous alumni -- Julia Louis-Dreyfus and George R.R. Martin -- know all about that.

The duo were in attendance for the contest. Known for her roles in "Seinfeld" and "Veep", Louis-Dreyfus' son, freshman Charlie Hall, is ironically enough a walk-on Northwestern basketball player.
The creator of the immensely popular series "Game of Thrones", Martin also hails from the prestigious university. Rocking his signature black fisherman's cap, he posed for a picture courtesy of Louis-Dreyfus' Twitter account.
