2017 Rose Bowl: What Swag Bag Treats Will USC Football Get?


Along with the honor of playing in the 2017 Rose Bowl, USC football players will get a swag bag including a gift suite, fossil watch, backpack and hat for their trip to Pasadena.
It’s that time of year! Bowl season brings with it the annual accounting of swag bags offered by bowl games, from gift suites to bobbleheads.
This year, USC’s Rose Bowl berth has earned them a gift suite, Fossil watch, Ogio backpack and a New Era 9Fifty snapback adjustable hat, per Sports Business Daily.
Those are fairly standard gifts for the Rose Bowl, nearly identical to last year’s swag, though personalization usually comes from the gift suite, which gives players options on a variety of gadgets, electronics and other goods.
The other January bowls are offering a similar assortment of items.

Of course, material things aren’t the only thing the Rose Bowl participants will receive. During the lead up to the Granddaddy of them all, players will take a trip to Disneyland and will be able to eat their weight in meat during the traditional Lawry’s Beef Bowl event
The winner of this year’s “Quirkiest Swag Bag” goes to the TaxSlayer Bowl, which will bestow players from Georgia Tech and Kentucky with a custom-made bobblehead of themselves.
The Quick Lane Bowl is going a similar direction, giving Boston College and Maryland players a life-sized personal Fathead decal..
Another interesting swag bag item stands out from the Nova Home Loans Arizona Bowl. South Alabama and Air Force will receive a “red inflatable ‘big lazy’ couch” in addition to their other gifts.
