2017 five-star OT Calvin Ashley gives early commit to Auburn

The good news continued to roll in for the Auburn Tigers during their Big Cat Weekend, as perhaps the top rated offensive lineman in the class of 2017 Calvin Ashley gave his pledge to the Tigers over the weekend.

The six-foot-seven, 307-pound Ashley spoke to 247 Sports following his commitment. 

"It’s so much relief that I can now stick to one school and be very happy," Ashley said. "I brought my whole family here this weekend just so I could do that here with the coaching staff. I'm very, very happy."

A native of Orlando, Florida, Ashley still has two years left of high school football before heading to college but had already accumulated offers from Alabama, Florida, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Clemson, Florida State, Ohio State, Michigan and Penn State among many others.

Something tells me Auburn fans are just as happy as Ashley to receive this piece of news.
