10 SEC games you won't want to miss in 2015

Every week is important in the SEC, as no conference foe can be taken lightly, but some games just mean more than others in the South.

Rant Sports recently compiled a list of their 10 biggest games on the SEC docket for next season:

10) LSU @ Ole Miss on November 21st

The Tigers ruined the Rebels' perfect campaign in 2014 in Baton Rogue with College GameDay on hand. The game ended in heart breaking fashion for Ole Miss, as quarterback Bo Wallace threw an ill-advised interception to seal the fate of their undefeated run. Will the Rebels get their revenge in this game?

9) Ole Miss @ Auburn on October 31st

As if the LSU game wasn't bad enough, the fashion in which Ole Miss lost to Auburn a year ago was just brutal. The team lost the game and star receiver Laquon Treadwell on the same play as Treadwell was stretching for the goal line. Will Ole Miss spoil Halloween for the Tigers in return?

8) Ole Miss @ Alabama on September 19th

The Ole Miss heavy list continues with a rematch of the classic Katy Perry inspired victory that sent Oxford into full on party mode and reportedly caused at least one fan to have unprotected sex. This early season game could go a long way in determining the early leader for the West division.

7) Alabama @ Mississippi State on November 14th

This game decided the West last season as the Tide beat State by five points a season ago. If Mississippi State can end up on the right side of an early home game against LSU and road games against Auburn and A&M, this game could once again determine the leader for the division down the stretch.

6) Florida vs. Georgia on October 31st *in Jacksonville

The Gators humiliated the Bulldogs last season 38-20 in a game that never seems to go as expected. The Bulldogs should be the heavy favorite as they are expected to be the leaders of the division while Florida may be stuck in rebuilding mode in year one of the McElwain era. That being said, the Gators will probably win by a huge margin once again.

5) Ole Miss @ Mississippi State on November 28th

The Egg Bowl has expanded the interest of the bitter rivalry of the Magnolia State, as both teams have become nationally relevant for the first time in recent memory. The home team has come away victorious in the last four contests. If both teams catch some breaks during the season, this game could determine the winner of the division in 2015.

4) LSU @ Alabama on November 7th

These two programs have become synonymous with excellence in recent history and always seem to play extremely physical and tight games against one another. Alabama has won four in a row and six of the last eight in the series, but with the experience returning for both sides, LSU may have the edge this season.

3) Georgia @ Auburn on November 14th

The Deep South's Oldest Rivalry continues for the 119th edition in 2015, with both programs eyeing a shot at the college football playoff. The all-time series is tied at 55-55-8, with Georgia winning last season by a margin on 27 points. If Auburn can turn around their defense as expected this season, this should be one heck of a game.

2) Alabama @ Georgia on October 3rd

The last time these two met was in the SEC Championship game when Aaron Murray's tipped pass was caught just short of the goal line and time expired on the Bulldogs. This should be a great barometer game for both teams, as they both are expected to win their respective divisions.

1) Alabama @ Auburn on November 28th

Was there really any other choice than the Iron Bowl? The Tide has dominated the series of late, however when Auburn wins they typically go on to the national championship game. If the Tigers live up to the hype, they very well could do so again in 2015.

Noticeable games absent from this list include:

LSU @ Mississippi State on September 12th

Georgia @ Tennessee on October 10th

Missouri @ Georgia on October 17th

Tennessee @ Alabama on October 24th

Arkansas @ LSU on November 7th

Texas A&M @ LSU on November 28th (return of John Chavis)
