Uncle of Floyd Mayweather Jr reported missing in Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS (AP) Las Vegas police say the uncle of boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. is missing.
Roger Mayweather was last seen around 3 p.m. Saturday in the area of Spring Mountain Road and Valley View Boulevard, less than a mile away from Mayweather Boxing Club.
Authorities say the 55-year-old suffers from several known medical issues and does not have his medication.
They are asking all area hospitals to check their registries.
Roger Mayweather, who is 5-foot-7 and 160 pounds, was last seen wearing a white shirt, blue sweatpants and white tennis shoes.
According to the club's website, Roger Mayweather is a full-time trainer who was known as a boxer in his own right and went by the nickname of ''Black Mamba.''
The biography also details his struggle with diabetes.
